Bishop Wester invites all to the Chrism Mass

Friday, Apr. 04, 2014
Lent is going by quickly! In just a short while we will be celebrating the great liturgies of Holy Week. One of those liturgies is the Chrism Mass. This ancient rite finds its origin in the early Church when, at the Easter Vigil, the bishop of the diocese blessed the chrism used to anoint the catechumens (elect).
