SALT LAKE CITY — Una vigilia de oración celebrada el 30 de mayo a las a fueras de las oficinas en Salt Lake City del Senador Orrin Hatch atrajo cerca de 200 personas, muchas de las cuales católicas. La vigilia fue celebrada para apoyar un camino justo y humano para la ciudadanía de "11 millones de aspirantes americanos en nuestro país", esto de acuerdo a la literatura que se dio en el evento. La vigilia comenzó a las 4:30 pm con cerca de 100 personas, la mayoría del área de Salt Lake. Unos autobuses llegaron después con feligreses provenientes de las parroquias de San Francisco de Asís en Orem y de la parroquia de Saint Thomas Aquinas en Logan.

ST. GEORGE — Las clases de primera comunión resultan siempre especiales, y este año no fue la excepción para los 20 estudiantes acudieron a ellas en la parroquia católica de St. George. Uno de los niños fue bautizado en la catedral de Salzburgo, Austria y otro fue bautizado en Italia, mientras que un par de gemelos fueron bautizados en las Filipinas.

ST. GEORGE — First Holy Communion classes are special and the 20 students in this year’s class at Saint George Catholic Church were no exception. One child was baptized in the cathedral of Salzburg, Austria and another was baptized in Italy, while a set of twins was baptized in the Philippines.
