Wester, nos recuerda que: "nuestra generosidad puede hacer una gran diferencia en los 30 ministerios, programas y servicios dirigidos a la comunidad católica del estado de Utah". En una carta dirigida a los fieles, nuestro padre en la fe nos invita: "desde mis oraciones los animo a participar y a hacer su compromiso de apoyo el día de hoy".

Once again a window of opportunity is opening in our country, an opportunity called Comprehensive Immigration Reform. We came very, very close to achieving this elusive goal in June of 2007, but since then our federal government has declined to act on the issue. Now, however, the political winds are shifting once again and immigration reform seems to be within reach.
