>>>SALT LAKE CITY ¯ Catholic Community Services (CCS) Saint and Saint Andrew Parish Food Bank in Riverton was among the eight Salt Lake City community organizations to receive a share of the $1 million in grants from Walmart’s "Help Fight Hunger" campaign. The presentation of the check occurred at the State Capitol Feb. 24. CCS Saint Vincent de Paul dining hall in Salt Lake City received $60,000, and the CCS Joyce Hansen Hall Northern Utah Food Bank in Ogden was given $75,000. The St. Andrew Food Bank received $25,000.

>>>SALT LAKE CITY — For 44 years, Catholic Community Services’ St. Vincent de Paul Dining Hall has served hundreds each day, but finding it used to pose a challenge because it lacked identifying signs. However, on Feb. 22 CCS celebrated the presentation of the dining hall’s new signs, which, aside from making the place easier to find, will give name recognition.
