Arcelia Giron Archuleta

January 11, 1939 ~ August 3, 2021

Arcelia (R.C.) Giron Archuleta joined her son and daughter, Nick and Lucy, husband Paul A. Archuleta, her parents, family and many friends on the morning of August 3, 2021. She is survived by daughter Toa Lopez and son Steve Archuleta, 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, sister Maria Barela, Jennie Herrera, Diane Sanches, Ruth and her husband Randy Truesdell, brother Robert Giron.

She was born in Petaca, New Mexico on January 11, 1939 to Jose Angel and Dulcinella Ortiz Giron. Arcelia enjoyed life doing many things. She liked to dance and enjoyed shopping and visiting her many friends up until four years ago when she began a battle with injuries suffered in an automobile accident until her death.

Funeral services were held on August 6, 2021 at St. Ann Catholic Church. Special thanks to her good friend and neighbor Karen Bradakies for running errands for her and going out to eat at Chubby’s and Maguey Mexican Restaurant. And special thanks to her sister-in-law Barbara Gallegos for checking on her every night after work and going to Smith’s for her favorite chicken wings. We are heartbroken but find comfort in knowing that she will be with her loving family. May she rest in peace. Thanks to all her friends and family that were there for us.
