SAINT GEORGE — Armond Monfredi, 75, died Jan. 15 after a long battle with cancer.

Monfredi was born March 2, 1932, to Olivia Chivaglia and Tony Monfredi in Price. He married Shirlee Oppocher in 1955. Armond was the center of his family, and they all looked up to him for guidance and advice. He will be remembered as a loving husband, supportive father, and world’s greatest grandfather. There are no words to explain the love his family had for him.

He is survived by his wife, Shirlee; his five children, Debi Sims, Terry Monfredi, Larry (Natalie) Monfredi, Cheryl (Mike) Dalton, and Joni Monfredi; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Virginia (Ray) Gazell, Jen (Brink) Potter, and Gerry (George) Wilberger; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint George Catholic Church.
