Suicide Prevention Presentation — Thursday, April 20, 7-8 p.m. at the St. James Social Center, 495 N. Harrison Blvd., Ogden. This free training is offered by the Weber County Sheriff’s Office in accordance with Live Hannah’s Hope to assist the public in understanding and preventing suicide. Divine Marcy Sunday — Sunday, April 23, starting at 3 p.m. with an Hour of Mercy at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 4916 South 2200 West, Taylorsville.  Includes exposition of the Most Blessed Sacrament and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.

Divine Mercy Sunday — Sunday, April 23, immediately after the 11:30 Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church in West Haven, 4050 South 3900 West. “A Holy Hour for Mercy” will include exposition of the Most Blessed Sacrament and the chanting of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.

St. Thomas Aquinas 75th Anniversary — The weekend of April 28-29, St. Thomas Aquinas Parish will celebrate their 75th anniversary. The anniversary Mass will be Friday, April 28 at 5:30 p.m. at the church, 725 South 250 East, Hyde Park. Madeleine Festival Concert — Sunday, May 21, 8 p.m., in the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, SLC. The Choir of the Cathedral of the Madeleine, featuring the Choristers of the Madeleine Choir School, will perform George Frideric Handel’s Dixit Dominus, HWV 232, Peter Hallock’s Phoenix, and Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Serenade to Music. Catholics Can Award — Nominations are being accepted for the Diocese of Salt Lake City’s Catholics Can Award by the Diocesan Commission for People with Disabilities. This annual award is given to an individual, parish or organization that ensures meaningful participation by people with disabilities in Catholic parish life. Help Needed — Saint Joseph’s Villa chapel is in need of volunteers and liturgical musicians (volunteers) for their 11:30 a.m. Masses, particularly on the second and fourth Sunday of each month. Volunteers help residents to and from their rooms to attend Mass. Ushers, lectors and Extraordinary Ministers of the Holy Eucharist also are needed. For information, contact Fr.
