40 Hours Devotion for Vocations — Jan.12-18. Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 174 East 900 South, SLC will have a 40-hour period of prayer before the Blessed Sacrament in solemn exposition with a special emphasis for vocations. Contact the parish for details.

Westminster Choir Performance — Thursday, Jan. 16, 7:30 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, SLC. The Westminster Choir of Rider University and Westminster Choir College of Princeton, N.J. will perform “Appear and Inspire.” Free; open to the public.

Open Gallery Nights — at the Cathedral of the Madeleine. Friday and Sunday, Jan. 17 and Jan. 19, 7:30 p.m. nightly. Learn about the organ and play your favorite tunes on the cathedral’s Kenneth Jones Gallery Organ. Limited to 15 participants; children under 12 must be accompanied by a supervising adult. Lay Dominican Open House — Sunday, Jan. 19, 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 3015 E. Creek Road, Cottonwood Heights. Sponsored by the St. Catherine of Siena Lay Dominican Chapter, the open house will provide information for those interested in finding out more about the lay Dominicans. Mass for the Unborn — Tuesday, Jan. 21, 6 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, SLC. This Mass to be celebrated by Bishop Oscar A. Solis, will be in English and Spanish, and sign language interpreted. All are welcome.

Utah March for Life — Saturday, Jan. 25, 12:15 p.m. Meet on the first floor at the Hall of Governors, Utah State Capitol to say the rosary with the Knights of Columbus followed by a 0.75 mile walk around the Utah State Capitol Building at 1 p.m.

March for Life Bus — Saturday, Jan. 25, bus leaves 11 a.m.; returns about 4 p.m. from St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 3015 E. Creek Road, Cottonwood Heights. The bus is sponsored by the parish’s Respect for Life Ministry. To register, e-mail MoreRespectForLife@stmutah.org by Jan. 13.
