40 Hours Devotion for Vocations — Feb. 16-22. St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 1505 White Pine Canyon Road, Park City will have a 40-hour period of prayer before the Blessed Sacrament in solemn exposition with a special emphasis for vocations. Contact the parish for details.

Carmelite Holy Hour — Sunday, Feb. 16, 3 p.m. at the Carmelite monastery, 5714 Holladay Blvd. SLC. Join the Carmelite nuns and the Knights of Columbus #5214 to pray for our Holy Catholic Church and our nation. There will be Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, the rosary, homily and Benediction.

Pastoral Center Closed — The Diocese of Salt Lake City Pastoral Center will be closed Monday, Feb. 17 for Presidents’ Day. The Pastoral Center will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Feb. 18.

Theology Uncorked — Thursday, Feb. 20, 7-10 p.m. at The Cabin at Provisions, 3364 South 2300 East, SLC. Lenten Adult Faith Formation — The Diocesan Office of Faith Formation recommends a free online course designed for adults interested in Christian art and the Bible. The McGrath Institute at the University of Notre Dame course will use the Saint John’s Bible to explore the prayer practices of lectio and visio divina. The five-class series begins on Feb. 24. Lenten Organ Recitals — Short organ meditations on the Lenten Gospels will be offered on Sundays, March 1, 15 and 29 at 5:30 p.m. by Cathedral of the Madeleine organist Dr. Gabriele Terrone, Travis Peterson from the Utah Symphony, Cathedral Organ Scholar Ruth Eldredge, and BYU Organ Student Amber Dahlberg.
