Pastoral Center Closed — The Diocese of Salt Lake City Pastoral Center will be closed Tuesday-Thursday, Dec. 31-Jan. 2, for the New Year’s holiday. It will reopen Friday, Jan. 3, at 8:30 a.m.
Solemnity of Mary, the Holy Mother of God — Wednesday, Jan. 1, is a holy day of obligation in the Diocese of Salt Lake City. However, the faithful in the rural parishes and missions, in consideration of weather and travel conditions, could consider themselves dispensed from the obligation.

Help Needed — St. Joseph’s Villa, 451 Bishop Federal Lane, SLC, is in need of volunteers and liturgical musicians (volunteers) for the 11:30 a.m. Sunday Mass, particularly on the second and fourth week of each month. Volunteers help residents to and from their rooms to attend Mass. Ushers, lectors and Extraordinary Ministers of the Holy Eucharist also are needed. For information, contact Fr.
