Social Justice Presentation — Tuesday, Oct. 3, 7 p.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Newman Center, 170 University St., SLC. Jean Hill, director of the Diocese of Salt Lake City’s Peace and Justice Commission, will discuss the diocese’s social justice agenda and how parishes can become more involved. Free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

Stewardship Seminar — Tuesday, Oct. 3, 6-8:30 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Parish, 1745 East 9800 South, Sandy. For all DDD/Stewardship workers and volunteers. The speaker will be the very Rev. Andrew Kemberling, V.F. No RSVP necessary.

INN Between Fundraiser — Friday, Oct. 6, 6-10:30 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Parish, 1375 E. Spring Lane, Holladay. New Orleans-inspired food, live music. Dinner and Game Night — Friday, Oct. 6, dinner at 6 p.m., games start at 6:45 p.m. at Saint Thomas More Parish, 3015 E. Creek Road, Sandy. Cost: $14.

First Friday Mass — with the Catholic Woman's League. Friday, Oct. 6, at 9 a.m. at Saint Joseph the Worker Parish, 7405 S. Redwood Road, West Jordan. Breakfast will be held after the prayer at a local restaurant.

Catholics Can Mass — Saturday, Oct. 7, beginning at 2 p.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 1505 White Pine Canyon Road, Park City. Bishop Oscar A. Solis will celebrate a Mass honoring the gifts and talents of all Catholics, especially those living with disabilities, and their families. All are welcome.

Oktoberfest — Bavarian-style dinner Saturday, Oct. 7, starting with a social hour at 6 p.m. at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 4914 South 2200 West, Taylorsville. Estate Planning Basics — A free seminar on estate planning on Saturday, Oct. 7, at 10 a.m. following the 9 a.m. Mass at St. Martin de Porres Church, 4914 South 2200 West, Taylorsville.

Common Prayer — The Catholic Diocese of Salt Lake City and the Rocky Mountain Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America will join in Common Prayer on Sunday, Oct. 8. The service will focus on Christian unity in light of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. Bishop Jim Gonia of the Rocky Mountain Synod and Bishop Oscar A. Solis will be the celebrants. The service will begin at 3 p.m. at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1070 Foothill Drive in SLC. All are invited.

Eccles Organ Festival — Sunday, Oct. 8, beginning at 8 p.m. in the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, SLC. Thomas Ospital, an acclaimed organist from France, will perform. Free and open to the public.

School Tour  — at J.E. Cosgriff Memorial Catholic School. Wednesday, Oct. 11, at 9 a.m. Parents of prospective students from 2-year olds to 8th-grade students are invited for a drop-in tour of the school, at 2335 Redondo Ave., SLC. For information, email Maggie Kearns, mkearns@cosgriff.org. 

Free Football Night — Friday, Oct. 13. the Bulldog Nationa free spaghetti dinner will be from 6-7 p.m., followed by Judge Memorial CHS' game with Carbon High School at 7 p.m. All Catholic school students and their families can attend both events free. Entrance is at the southwest corner of the school's cafeteria, 650 South 1100 East, SLC.  

Festival of Light — Friday, Oct. 13, 6-9 p.m. at the Show Barn, 3003 North Thanksgiving Way, Lehi. Hosted by the non-profit organization Cambodia Job Foundation, which supports Cambodian youth.
