Barbara Ann Hendricks, 75, passed away with her family around her on February 6, 2019 in Salt Lake City.

She was born July 17, 1943 in Denver, Colorado, the only child of Kermit N. and Blanche J. Baker. She graduated from Cathedral High School in June 1961. She then attended two years of business college. She married Warren Delano Hendricks on April 3, 1964 in Denver. They had three children: Paul Kurt, Elizabeth Kathryn and Gregory Alan.

Barbara was a full-time homemaker, and a dedicated wife and mother. She enjoyed traveling around the western United States until her health began to fail. She was physically challenged, but she never gave in and always wanted to be included in every activity.

Barbara was a loyal Catholic. She was very outgoing and could become friends with anyone. She enjoyed doing crafts and was a master at crochet, making beautiful afghans for family and friends. She was an avid reader and had three Kindle readers. She loved to laugh, especially with classics like “I Love Lucy” and “The Carol Burnett Show.” She enjoyed cooking and baking, especially making goodies for birthdays and holidays.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Warren; her son Paul; her daughter-in-law Patt; and her granddaughter, Lily. She will be greatly missed.

A funeral Mass was celebrated on February 21, 2019 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Sandy.
