SALT LAKE CITY — Barbara Jean Charles Tabish, 74, died Dec. 26. She was a member of St. Patrick Parish. Tabish was born Feb. 22, 1932, in Salt Lake City to William and Daisy Charles. She was married to Norm Charles, her childhood sweetheart, for 56 years. She worked for the Salt Lake City School Lunch Program and retired after 20 years. Tabish was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary, and worked countless hours on charity fund raisers. She also was involved in many parish activities. She loved traveling, camping, and visiting with family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Norm; children, Karen (Pete) Black, Janet (Steve) Raineri, Ken, Rob (Ginny); grandchildren, Nicole, Travis, Eliza, Michael, Tyler, and Andy; great-grandchildren, Kalani, Dakari, and Jade. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Patrick Catholic Church.
