Students, parents and faculty at Blessed Sacrament School were visited by Bishop Oscar A. Solis on Dec. 6. The whole school prepared for this special event. All of the students collaborated in writing prayers for the bishop, which were compiled in a book that was presented to the bishop by Mr. Bryan Penn, the principal. The eighth-grade students were in charge of the all-school Mass. In his homily, Bishop Solis talked to the children about how much “God loves us and Jesus is our Savior.” After the Mass, Bishop Solis visited the classrooms, where the children sang for him. He also attended the Saint Report Fair and spent time answering questions.
