SALT LAKE CITY — Brandon Gonzales, 35, passed away on July 16, 2012.

Gonzales was born on Feb. 24, 1977 to Glen and Peggy (Velarde) Gonzales.

Gonzales is survived by his parents, brother Jason Gonzales, sister Aubrey Cruz (Jake), two nephews, a niece, grandmother Sadie Velarde and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Gonzales was preceded in death by grandfather Nick Velarde, Sr.; uncle Paul J. Velarde; grandfather Alfred Gonzales, and grandmother Maymie Gonzales.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Joseph the Worker Catholic Church.
