SANDY — Catherine V. McLoughlin died May 19. McLoughlin was born June 22, 1917, in New York City to Joseph and Catherine McCarthy Curtis. She married Thomas J. McLoughlin Dec. 3, 1939. She was the most wonderful wife and mother in the world. She cared for her family and friends with a most thoughtful and selfless heart. She had a secretarial career and spent time in many volunteer pursuits. She is survived by her husband, Tom; daughter, Ellen (Alfred) Lucas; brother, Joseph E. Curtis; sister, Margaret (William) Marion; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Committal was in Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
