Diocesan Vicar General Msgr. J. Terrence Fitzgerald presents Msgr. M. Francis Mannion, pastor of St. Vincent de Paul Parish and administrator of St. Vincent de Paul School, the Christ the Teacher Award on behalf of the Diocesan Office of Catholic Schools. On March10 the Diocesan Office of Catholic Schools held their annual Professional Educators Day at St. Vincent de Paul Church. There, teachers were recognized for working for Catholic schools for one, five, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 35 years. In addition, outstanding educators and staff members were recognized. Above, (from left) Bob Jackson is recognized as an outstanding educator from Judge Memorial Catholic High School, where he has taught theology and liturgy for 15 years; Ray Martinez, the outstanding staff member from St. Joseph Catholic High School, has served for 21 years; Louise Hendrickson was named an outstanding educator from Kearns-St. Ann School, where she has taught for 14 years; and Rosemarie Graham, also honored from Kearns-St. Ann School, where she has been an accountant for 26 years.
