September 21, 1989  ~ June 9th 2018

Early afternoon on June 7, 2018, our beloved Chea was in a tragic car accident. She was life-flighted to Rapid City Regional Hospital in South Dakota and despite the medical team’s greatest efforts she was pronounced dead mid-day June 9, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Velma and Steven. She is survived by her mother, Jeanette; her father, Chester; grandparents Pamela and Richard; and siblings Todd, Tawny, Heather, Tanesha, Makiya, Brandy, Jazelle, Bryce, Julianna, Samantha, and Anthony. She was also “mom” to her precious Lucas, whom she loved with all her heart. Her entire family from the immediate to the extended as well as her many friends adored her greatly and will miss her terribly.

Chea will live on in the hearts of those who loved her as we remember her silly ‘go to’ poses, her face as she lit up with excitement, and the fun loving way she lived her life. She was a free spirit who was always ready for any new adventure life brought her. She traveled and worked in many states and everywhere she went, she impacted many lives and touched countless hearts. While she may have had a fiery edge, she was fiercely loyal and cared deeply. Despite her tiny stature, she was strong, very independent, and always ready to defend those she loved. Chea was a spitfire to be reckoned with!

One thing we can all agree on is that Chea would not want us to sit around mourning her loss. So in memory of Chea, let us live our lives the way she always did — make memories that last forever!

A funeral Mass was celebrated June 23 at St Jude Maronite Catholic Church. Burial was at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
