Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children

SALT LAKE CITY — The Diocese of Salt Lake City marked the National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children on Sept. 13 by joining in prayer with Catholics throughout the United States. About 75 people gathered at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Salt Lake City to pray the rosary, led by Father Lourduraj Gally Gregory, pastor of Saint Patrick Parish. Bishop John C. Wester attended the event and said he was very pleased with the turnout. “My thought was how wonderful it is that people come forward to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves. It is a great gift that they are making their voices heard because the unborn cannot. I’m really grateful for the presence of all of those here today.”
