Diocesan youth celebrate World Youth Day

Three hundred youth from 17 parishes throughout the Diocese of Salt Lake City gathered at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Orem on July 27 to celebrate World Youth Day. In addition to Mass, activities included (photos in order of appearance) group chants, drawing posters representing who Jesus is and what he expects of each person, signing a banner that will be presented to Bishop John C. Wester, drumming on the Drum Bus with facilitator Nels Anderson and Latin dancing taught by Salsa Utah,. For more photos, see the Intermountain Catholic facebook page.
