St. Joseph Catholic Middle School student Joe Panushka, was recently honored by the Daughters of the American Revolution for his essay on Benjamin Franklin – "More than a Revolutionary." His writing took first place in the regional contest and then first place in state. Joe said the research was intense, but writing the essay was fun. He concentrated on Franklin’s inventions and his scientific perspectives.
