SALT LAKE CITY — Eugene "Gene" Montoya died April 19. Montoya was born to Daniel and Cora Montoya. He married Lorna Ricetti. They later divorced. He is survived by his sons, Scott (Melissa), Brad (Jessica), Gene, Jr. (Hope) Montoya; sister Lily (Art) Gaitin; grandchildren, Anthony, Angela, Alicia, Chantriel, Tosha, Angel, Isabella, Alexys, and Daniel; great-grandchildren, Taiven, Julius, and Isaiah; and his companion Barbara Holladay. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Committal was in Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
