Dear Bishop Niederauer,

OMAHA, Neb. — We are sending our congratulations to you and want you to know how proud we are of you in choosing to accept the Lord’s call as Arch Bishop of San Francisco. You have set an example for all of us to follow. Be assured our prayers for the Lord’s blessings go with you and we will look forward to visiting with you in your new home. In Christ’s Love,

 Thoughts and Reflections

DRAPER — We knew from the first time we meet the Bishop he was a very special man. We were just one of many at the ground breaking ceremonies for the new Juan Diego Catholic High School and had just moved to Salt Lake City the week before. Our encounter was short and gracious but in those few minutes we experienced the welcoming, warmth and friendliness of a Bishop like none before. You see this Bishop is a people’s Bishop who extends opening and genuinely the life of Christ to all he meets and associates with. We are very thankful to Bishop Niederauer for all he has done for the Catholic community and all the people of Utah and truly grateful for the Bishops’ extended friendship to us.
