Geneviève Bussinger Coburn

Geneviève Bussinger Coburn joined her beloved husband, Royal, in eternal life March 9, 2017. 
She was born in Evron, France on Jan. 6, 1922 to René and Marguerite Bussinger. She met the love of her life, Royal Varnum Coburn, in Germany at the end of World War II and was married on Nov. 6, 1948 in Ogden, Utah. She studied at Notre Dame de Sion, LeMans, France, Faculté de Droit, Université de Paris, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and law. She devoted her life to her family, friends and her Catholic faith. 
She is survived by four children: Monique (& Paul) Harris, Brent (& Magali) Coburn, John (& Lisa) Coburn, Michèle (& Denny) Huffman; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; 13 step-great-grandchildren; and five step-great-great-grandchildren. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Royal; her parents; and brothers André Bussinger and Dany Bussinger.
A funeral Mass was celebrated on March 15 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church.
