Get ready to lope with leprechauns

SALT LAKE CITY – Run, walk, dress in green or your craziest St. Patrick’s Day costume to show your Irish spirit at the annual Leprechaun Lope. 

This 10K and 5K race and 2-mile fun run, which has been a Salt Lake tradition since 1989, benefits Our Lady of Lourdes School. 

Prizes are given for costumes and top finishes.

The race on March 18 begins at 8:30 a.m. at the State Capitol and ends at Memorial Grove in time for participants to view the St. Patrick’s Day Parade at The Gateway. For information,  visit www.lourdesschool.org/lope; register online at www.raceentry.com.
