Giglio C. Testori

SALT LAKE CITY — Giglio C. "Lou" Gestori, 84, died Oct. 29.

Testori was born in 1922 to Filomena Zami and Peter Antonio Testori in Salt Lake City. He served in the U.S. Army 868th Field Artillery as a T3 during World War II in Europe. He was an electronic engineer at Hill Air Force Base, and retired after more than 40 years of service. He attended the University of Utah with an interest in paralegal. He helped everyone and was loved by all. He loved to travel and always took the back roads, he loved antique cars and boats, he loved to dance, and he was a devoted Lawrence Welk fan.

He is survived by his wife, Cecilia Testori; brother, Ben Testori and his family, Nashville, Tenn.; daughter, Delcilia (Cyril) Weber, Bellingham, Wash.; daughter, Dianna (Richard) Thompson, Luther, Okla.; son, Delbert LaMont (Helen) Freeman, Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Casie (Steve), Cherry (Robert), Cori (Tracy), Cathy, Danny (Renelle), Daniel, Anna, Fredrick; six great-grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
