Interact Club service project + Enlarge

The student members of the Judge Memorial Catholic High School’s Interact Club gathered in early December to hand-tie blankets and pillows to donate to the Candy Cane Corner in Salt Lake City.
Candy Cane Corner is an annual collaboration between The Road Home, Volunteers of America, Utah and YWCA Utah. Annually, these three organizations ask the community to help them provide a holiday shopping experience for the families they serve. Interact is Rotary International’s service club for young people ages 14 to 18. Interact clubs are sponsored by individual Rotary clubs, which provide support and guidance, but they are self-governing and self-supporting.
The Judge Memorial Interact Club sponsors numerous annual community service outreach projects, including monthly projects with local non-profit organizations, groups, schools, and shelters. Each spring, the group completes one service project designed to further international understanding and goodwill. Just in the past three years, Judge Memorial Interact completed service projects for Thailand, Chiapas and the Sudan. Karla Keller serves as advisor to the Judge Memorial Interact Club.
