John Anthony Ricci

John Anthony Ricci passed away peacefully on Jan. 17, 2017 in Mesa, Ariz., where he lived with his son, John P. Ricci.  

John was born March 10, 1936 in Livingston, Mont. to Sam G. and Theresa (Armentaro) Ricci. 

He married the love of his life, Phillis Laubach Ricci, who preceded him in death in 1990. 

John is survived by his children: Michael (Kathy) Ricci, Virginia “Ginny” (Kenneth) Hansen, John Patrick (Diane) Ricci, Jeanette Ricci, and Samuel Ricci; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and brothers James Ricci and Robert Ricci.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Irene (Laubach) Ricci; parents Sam and Theresa Ricci; brothers Victor Ricci and Emil Ricci; daughter-in-law Diane Moyer Ricci; and grandson Chesney Hansen.

He will always be remembered for his love of cooking, and for his family and friends. God has you in his keeping, we have you in our hearts.

A funeral Mass was celebrated Feb. 27 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
