Joy Elaine Jacobs, 89, passed away on March 27, 2022, at St Mark’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah due to heart failure.

Born on May 19, 1932, in the state of Oregon, she led a full and interesting life, settling in Salt Lake with her husband and family in 1958.

She is preceded in death by ex-husband, Charles Jacobs and oldest daughter Theresa Calvin.

Joy is survived by three children, eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was a kind, Christian woman and will be greatly missed by all.

Joy was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Parish. No formal services are scheduled.
