Judge Memorial Catholic High School Principal Patrick Lambert and multiple administrators, including Utah Catholic Schools Superintendent Mark Longe  traveled to Washington D.C. Nov. 5 for an awards ceremony by the U.S. Department of Education at which JMCHS was recognized as a 2021 National Blue Ribbon School.

For the award, schools are graded on overall academic performance, graduation rate and progress in closing achievement gaps among student subgroups. Judge Memorial is the only Utah high school to earn the award more than once; it also is the only school in the West to have earned the award four times

“This prestigious honor was made possible through the hard work and dedication of the entire school community,” Principal Patrick Lambert said. “Students, faculty, staff and parents all had a role in creating the learning environment that sets us apart.”
