Kathleen ?Kathy? Andrews

September 14, 1945 ~ December 8, 2020

Daughter, sister, friend, wife, mom and grammy. A life well-lived with passion, independence, strength and love.

Kathy was born in Omaha, Nebraska, and moved to La Canada, California at age 9. She graduated from Westridge School for Girls in 1963 and then attended University of Southern California, where she met the love of her life David Andrews. “Fight on Trojans!” In 1967, David and Kathy married, and then went on to become proud parents of Lisa and Michael. They raised their kids in Arcadia, California.

In 1997, Kathy and David moved to Draper. They loved their life here, and it became even more full when Michael followed suit. Sadly, David passed away suddenly in 2005. The loss was devastating. Kathy’s son comforted her during this time, and was later by her side during her best and worst days of her cancer fight.

Kathy is survived by her daughter Lisa Simone with husband Kirk, and their children Katherine, Olivia and Matthew; her son Michael Andrews and his partner Rebecca Conde, and his daughter Sofia.

The family is grateful for the support and friendship of Carolee and Blake Larsen, her longtime friends, and also Monsignor Terence Moore.
