SALT LAKE CITY — LaVon McKenna, 80, died March 24. McKenna was born March 4, 1927, to Hazel Hollist and Thomas Bert McArthur. She spent her live caring for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many years as the main care giver for her husband, Bill McKenna. She is survived by her children, Bobby (Debbie) Bess, Nancy Borg, Carolyn Lancaster, Jolene (Cal) Sharp, Denice (Bill) DeBirk, Dennis (Lynn) McKenna, Bill (Laurie) McKenna, Tom (Cindy) McKenna, and Jim (Kim) McKenna; 28 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; sisters, Alta Morrow, and Bernadette Hayes; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Committal was in Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
