SALT LAKE CITY — Lawrence O. Garcia, 72, died April 4 at the University Hospital. Garcia was born Sept. 23, 1934, to Navor Garcia and Anita Lovato Garcia. He married Julia Corral March 29, 1957. He was a welder, fabricator, and owner of Taco Tico and La Sierra for 28 years. He enjoyed watching Judge Memorial Catholic High School football, hunting, fishing, watching his grandchildren play sports, barbecues, and gardening. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Julia; son, Michael (Jennifer), daughter-in-law, Robyn, daughters, Stefana and Connie Jo; brother Billy (Karen) Jimenez, sister, Clorinda Cordova; and six grandchildren. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment was in Valley View Cemetery.
