SALT LAKE CITY — Lena "Lee" Cook, 81, died Dec. 12.

Cook was born Sept. 17, 1925, in Denver, Colo., to Bill and Carmel Cribari. She went to school in Denver where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Ray Cook. After retiring, she and her husband spent time traveling in and out of the country. She was a member of the Assistance League, Newcomers Club, Judge Memorial Boosters Club, St. Mary’s Guild, and St. Ambrose Altar Society. She was also a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Parish Council of Catholic Women, Catholic Ladies Bowling League, and the Saturday Night Dinner-Dance Club.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ray; brothers, Carl Cribari and George (Cis) Cribari; sons, Thomas (Susan), David (Heather); grandchildren, Aimee (Tom) O’Brien, Corrine Cook (Greg) Fond, Lindsey (Dallas) Luttmer, Jennifer, Peri, and Devin; great-grandchildren Megan, Jon Jon, and Katie O’Brien; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
