SALT LAKE CITY — Lena L. Lucero, 97, died Jan. 23. Lucero was born May 22, 1910, in Rincon, N.M., to Pedro J. and Manuelita Gallegos Lovato. She married Lee Joe Lucero on Feb. 12, 1934. They spent 52 years together before he died March 12, 1986. She was a devoted wife and mother, and a very caring person, who continually worried about her family. She is survived by her children, Leonard Lee (Pauline), and Viola (Frank D. Bolin); 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren; brother, Cecil; and two sisters, Josephine and Cecilia. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Committal was in Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
