• Lenten parish mission — at Holy Family Parish March 6-8, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each night at the church, 1100 East 5550 South, Ogden. With Tony Brandt and Chris Steward from Casting Nets Ministry. Active Catholics, lapsed Catholics and non-Catholics are all welcome. No charge.
• Lenten study — “Entering the Passion” with Dr. Brandon R. Peterson will be Thursdays during Lent beginning March 3 from 7:30-8:30 p.m. each night except April 7. The sessions will be in the Archbishop Wester lecture hall at The Madeleine Choir School and simulcast on Zoom. The study will use A.J. Levine’s book Entering the Passion of Jesus: A Beginner’s Guide to Holy Week. Signup sheet at https://forms.gle/KPsNyXgFJhhZEM9H8.
• Diocesan Lenten Retreat — Saturday, April 2. The Diocesan Lenten Retreat will be offered remotely with a message from Bishop Oscar A. Solis and talks from retreat masters Father Ray John Marek, OMI, and Friar Cristobal Torres posted on the diocesan website. Followed by small-group discussion. Parishes will schedule the retreat at a time that is convenient for their congregations that day. Contact your parish for more information.
• Southwest Deanery Lenten Retreat — Saturday, April 2, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., presented by the Southwest Deanery of the Diocesan Council of Catholic Women., at St. George Catholic Church, 259 West 200 North, St. George.
