Lenten Organ Recital — Sunday, March 24 immediately following 5 p.m. Vespers at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, SLC, with cathedral organist Gabriele Terrone and organ scholar Andrew Fellow.

Lenten Retreat — March 23-27 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Newman Center, 170 University Ave, SLC. “Lamentations: Is It Just My Life That Sucks?” is geared toward college students and young professionals but is open to everyone. Fr. Christopher Gray will preach at all weekend Masses March 23-24. The retreat will continue with talks and chanted prayer Monday through Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. 

Penance Service — Wednesday, March 27, at 7 p.m. at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Catholic Church, 624 W. Lennox St., Midvale. Confessions in English and Spanish.

Penance Service — Wednesday, March 27, at 7 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 65 East 500 North, Orem. Confessions in English and Spanish.

Soup Supper — Friday, March 29, 5 p.m. in the St. Rose of Lima Parish Social Center, 210 Chapel St., Layton. You may bring a soup to share or just come to enjoy the soup and company prior to joining rosary prayers. 

Stations of the Cross & Soup Supper — Friday, March 29, 6 p.m. at Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church 185 N. Carbon Ave, Price.

Bilingual Children’s Stations of the Cross — Saturday, March 29, after the 6:30 p.m. Spanish Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 65 East 500 North, Orem. Soup supper afterwards.

Men’s Retreat — Saturday, March 30, noon-3 p.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 7405 S. Redwood Rd., West Jordan. Led by Fr. James Blaine, a retired priest of the diocese. For information, contact Todd Brown, tbrown.rmts@gmail.com or 801-573-1883.

Lenten Reflection — Saturday, March 30 at St. Ambrose Parish’s social hall, 1975 South 2300 East, SLC. Registration at 8:30 a.m.; first session at 9 a.m. Free and open to everyone. The sessions end at noon. Vigil Mass at 5 p.m.; Lenten penance service at 6:30 p.m.

Diocesan Lenten Retreat — Saturday, April 6, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Saint Vincent de Paul Parish’s Benvegnu Center and Holy Family Hall, 1375 E. Spring Lane, SLC. All are welcome. Celebrate the Eucharist with Bishop Oscar A. Solis. Guest retreat masters Rev. Ray John Marek, Missionary Oblate of Mary Immaculate, and Rev. Domingo Rodríguez Zambrana.
