December 1924 ~ January 15, 2018

Lilly Rosalia Abeyta Marquez – our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend entered Heaven’s gates and was reunited with her husband (favorite dance partner) on January 15, 2018.

Lilly was born in December 1924 in Tiffany, Colo. to Margarita Valdez Abeyta and Abel J. Abeyta.

She married Eusebio “Marco” Marquez in September 1945 and was a loving wife and helpmate to her husband and a wonderful stay-at-home mother to their three daughters. She was a very hard worker her entire life. She was also a talented seamstress who loved to quilt and crochet.

She was never idle; she took great pride in her flowers and vegetable garden and putting up jelly for her family and friends. Lilly had an unwavering faith in God; she was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, which she attended until her health declined.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Eusebio Marquez; three brothers: Miguel, Bonifacio and John; and three sisters: Beatrice, Margie and Julia.

Lilly is survived by three daughters Peggy (Robert), Shirley (Jim) and Annette (Steve); seven grandchildren Rodney (Laura), Alesha, Brandon, Brooke (Justin), Marcus (Jessica), Brittany and Amanda; six great-grandchildren Marco, Lilliana, Cadence, Brooklynn, Garrett, and Adrian; sisters Stella Lucero and Evelyn Carbajal; and many loved nieces, nephews, godchildren, and friends.

VAYA CON DIOS.

A funeral Mass was celebrated January 22, 2018 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She was laid to rest on January 23, 2018 at the Price City Cemetery.
