Marguerite Jane Danielson, 88, died on Nov. 4, 2017 in Midvale.

Marguerite was born on May 22, 1929 in Woodbury, N.J., the second daughter of William David Bickerstaff and Anna Gildea Bickerstaff. She grew up in Westville, N.J. and graduated from Woodbury High School in 1946. She attended Taylor Business School in Philadelphia, Penn. in 1949. Marguerite married Ralph J. Danielson in 1951 and together they had five children.

In 1959, the family moved from New Jersey to Nevada. They subsequently moved to Salt Lake City; Seattle, Wash.; Boise, Idaho; and in 2005 back to Utah.

In addition to raising her family, in 1967 Marguerite went to work in Salt Lake City as a legal secretary and after 20 years in this work, retired in 1987.

In 2013, Marguerite was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph.

She is survived by her children: Ralph James (Marilyn) Danielson of West Valley; Kristin Danielson (Garl) Fink of Taylorsville; Ronald David (Patricia) Danielson of Longview, Wash.; Eric Patrick Danielson of Tacoma, Wash.; and Joy Anne E. Danielson of Renton, Wash.; sisters Anna Ruth Janus of Melbourne, Fla., and Elizabeth (Otto) West of Debary, Fla.; and 13 grandchildren.

A funeral Mass was celebrated on Nov. 10, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
