SALT LAKE CITY — Mark Brett Markham, 48, died Aug. 13, following complications from a heart attack. Markham was born Nov. 1, 1957, in Salt Lake City. He graduated from Skyline High School in 1976. As an entrepreneur, Markham’s enthusiasm, determination, and persistence inspired us to dream big and work hard. As a golfer, his skill and sportsmanship made us proud. He is survived by his wife Lori; children, Nicklaus, Raquel, Ashley (Jason) Shaw, Jared (Leslie) Lynton; grandchildren, Noah and Isabelle; mother, Joy White; sisters, Pam (Dan) Knopp, Nancy (Curt) Oda; brother, Bill (Susan) Markham; his in-laws; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Donations may be made to J.E. Cosgriff Memorial School in Markham’s name.
