SALT LAKE CITY — Mary Ellen Romano Burt, 82, died Sept. 15. Burt was born Sept. 8, 1926, in Salt Lake City to Pasquale and Antoinette Panserini Romano. She married Roland Burt June 18, 1947. He died Feb. 6, 1993. Together, they gave their children a loving childhood that they have shared with other family members and great friends. Burt worked for the Department of Motor Vehicles for 20 years. She is survived by her three children, Diane, Rolene (Dale) Morris, and Kevin; grandson, Patrick; brothers, Bruno Romano, Charlie (Clara) Romano, and Rudy Romano; sister, Mini Belcolori; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Patrick Catholic Church. Committal was in Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
