Our beloved mother, grandmother, friend and a true angel on earth, Maurine Moffitt Osoro, passed away on June 10, 2017. She was loved and will be missed by many.
Maurine was born to Ruth Fullmer Moffitt and Lloyd Moffitt on Aug. 12, 1929 in Bingham Canyon along with her twin, Darlene. She lived in Copperton since 1956 and graduated from Bingham High in 1948.
Maurine was an active member of Immaculate Conception Parish. She loved her faith. She married Joe Fiddle Osoro on Nov. 28, 1953; later blessed in the Catholic Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Lawrence); son David (Natalie); grandchildren Sheila, Jeramie (Staci), Joey (Savanah), Chase and Raul (Jose); and three great-grandchildren, Joshua, Landon and Aria.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Kathleen, sisters Loraine and Darlene, and great-grandson Dylan.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Copperton or to the charity of your choice.
A funeral Mass was celebrated on June 15 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
