Men's Retreat Concludes

The ninth annual Men’s Retreat sponsored by St. Mary Parish in West Haven was held Aug. 9-11 in Bloomington, Idaho. This year, participants studied “The Seven Deadly Sins and the Seven Lively Virtues,” by Bishop Robert Barron. Attendees used a combination of readings, group discussions, audio presentations and activities to accentuate the subject matter. Daily Mass and two seven-hour nocturnal Adoration evenings enhanced the spirituality of the event. The weekend culminated with a Rite of Total Consecration to the Immaculata in the Spirit of St. Maximilian Kolbe. Fifty-four men, the largest number yet, attended the retreat.
