SALT LAKE CITY — Everything is coming up roses at the Nano Nagle Children’s Center, located at Saint Vincent de Paul Parish and School in Salt Lake City. With a donation from The ALSAM Foundation, renovations were made over the summer to make Nano Nagle Children’s Center a state-of-the-art facility. The outdoor playground was transformed with new fencing, the installation of several playground structures, a large sand box, an outside art area, and tricycle concrete path for the center’s preschoolers. In addition, for safety reasons, an inner courtyard was created for the infants to 2-year-olds. New windows and a new heating and air system were installed inside the children’s center, which was once a convent. A classroom bathroom was added and a new stove and oven were purchased to help with their breakfasts and lunches. The Nano Nagle Children’s Center, for children ages infant to 3 years old, opened two years ago. It is located on the Saint Vincent de Paul Parish and School grounds. It is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Article courtesy of St. Vincent de Paul School
