May 27, 1978 ~ September 10, 2021

Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend Nell Angela Martinez Hanlon went home to be with the Lord on September 10, 2021.

She was born May 27, 1978, to John and Andrea Garcia Martinez in Granger, Utah.

Nell married Anthony Hanlon on May 6, 2006, and they renewed their vows in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Magna on April 24, 2015.

Her greatest blessing was the children’s ministry and serving the Church in any way she could. She enjoyed family gatherings, camping, fishing, getting pedicures with her sisters, shopping with her daughters, watching her sons and daughters play sports, going on rides with her husband, music, dancing and spending time with her grandchildren and doing crafts with her friends. Nell had a big heart and was kind to everyone she met. She worked at Connexion Point for the last seven years as an engagement agent.

Nell is survived by her husband, Anthony Hanlon; children Demetries, Dominic Delgado, Nisa (Santino Cordova) and Ariel Hanlon; parents John and Andrea Martinez; sisters Shelby (Gabriel) Frost and Mary (James) Vallejos; brother-in-law Doug Hanlon; grandchildren Mariano (Maria Garcia) and Willow Delgado; godparents Billy and Emma Maez, Steve and Joanne Manzanares; Trisha, Monica, Jersey Hanlon and Isabella Curtis, to whom she also played a mother figure in their lives; many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, family and friends.

Preceded in death by her grandparents Presciliano and Louise Garcia, Ruby Martinez, Gifford and Marilyn Peterson; mother-in-law Linda Bertoch; niece Isabell Frost; uncles Alfonso and Eugene Martinez, Lynn Garcia; and many cousins.

A funeral Mass was celebrated September 20 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Committal: Valley View Memorial Park.
