Pastor Father Donald E. Hope is joined in an opening prayer by the Rev. Athanasios Emmert of Asspumtion Greek Orthodox Church. For three years Fr. Emmert has graciously allowed the Catholics to hold their children's' religious education classes at the Greek Orthodox Church. With the completion of the new building, Fr. Hope said, ?We will have the space needed for our religion classes.?

PRICE — With cameras popping, the Catholic Community of Notre Dame de Lourdes Parish, Price, filed out of a special prayer service Dec. 7, and prepared themselves for the next phase of their parish life together – the construction of a much-needed religious education building for the parish. For the past several years, Catholic students have been going to the Greek Orthodox Church for religious education classes, and when the time came to break ground on the new Center, Rev. Athanasios Emmert of Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Price was on hand to break his share of ground. With Bob Richens, Jennie Richens, and Mag Marinac taking photos of the historic event, the parish revealed the special combination of prayer, faith, and hard work that will bring the new religious education building into being. The building is due to be finished in July 2008.
