The priests of the Diocese of Salt Lake City gathered for the annual summer clergy retreat June 7-10 at Homestead Retreat in Midway. Fr. Chris Cartwright, SJ, from the House of Prayer for priests in Los Angeles, led the annual Diocese of Salt Lake City priests’ retreat. One of his themes was surrender to  God, another was realizing a dream and a vision. Bishop Oscar A. Solis said the retreat’s primary purpose was spiritual renewal, but that it also gave the priests an opportunity for fellowship.
