PRICE — Rose Fratto Maio, 91, died Jan. 3, of natural causes in Arizona. Maio was born in Sunnyside, Utah, Jan. 16, 1915, to Joseph and Rosa Spatafore Fratto. She married Michele (Mike) Fratto Aug. 2, 1941. She prayed her rosary often for her family and any time she watched Notre Dame football games. She is survived by her four children, Rosanna (Pete) Buchholdt, Sun Lakes, Ariz., Frank Joseph Maio, Jerry Michele (Marlene) Maio, and Terry Samuel (Suzan) Maio; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church, Price. Committal was in the Price City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Catholic Community Services or the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
