SALT LAKE CITY — Rose M. Gabaldon Giron, 81, died April 17, 2014. Giron was born Dec. 15, 1932 in Bernalillo, N.M. to Pedro and Ciprianita Gabaldon. She married Horacio Giron in 1953. Giron is survived by children Jerry (Melanie), Mike, Debbie (Mark) Casey, Jeanette, Tom, Gloria (Mark) Montoya, Paul and David; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and siblings Raymond, Tony (Margaret), David (Darlene) Gabaldon and Helen (Harold) Archuleta. Giron was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers (Frank, Salamon, Joe, George); and Horacio Giron. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
