Enchantment in the Summer Garden — fundraiser for Give Me a Chance. Saturday, Sept. 7, at GMAC, 2913 Grant Ave., Ogden. Adults only. Bishop’s Dinner — The annual Bishop’s Dinner, a benefit for the Cathedral of the Madeleine, will be Wednesday, Sept. 4 beginning with a 6 p.m. social hour. Guest speaker will be Robert Cardinal McElroy, Bishop of San Diego. Visit thebishopsdinnerslc.org to register.

“Run for the Nuns” 5K Run/Walk — Sunday, Sept.15, 8-9 a.m. Start and finish line at the Carmelite monastery, 5714 Holladay Blvd. Open to all ages, fitness levels, and abilities. $25 registration fee. Carmelite Fair — to support the Carmelite nuns. Sunday, Sept. 15, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the monastery, 5714 Holladay Blvd., SLC. Free and open to the public.

Utah Catholic Conference — a day of faith formation for adults and youth grades 6-12. Saturday, Sept. 21, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Skaggs Catholic Center, 300 East 11800 South, Draper. Visit www.dioslc.org for information and to register.

Autumn Harvest Fundraiser — Farm-to-table cuisine and live auction to support Holy Cross Ministries’ services to underserved families. Thursday, Sept. 19, 6:30-9:30 p.m. in St. Mary of the Assumption Parish’s social hall, 1505 White Pine Canyon Road, Park City.
